Lesson Policies

Welcome to Mattis Music Academy! To ensure the best experience for all students and to keep lessons running smoothly, please review the following policies:

1. Payment

  • Payment must be received before each lesson in order to confirm your spot.

  • Payments can be made through [list your payment method: Zelle, CashApp, Stripe, etc.].

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

  • If notice is given more than 24 hours before, the lesson will simply be rescheduled to another available time.

3. Attendance

  • Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Please be on time to get the full value of your session.

  • If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

4. Communication

  • All scheduling, cancellations, and questions should be directed to me via [preferred contact method: email, phone, or text].

  • Parents are encouraged to communicate directly with me regarding their child’s progress and scheduling needs.

5. Preparedness

  • Students should come to lessons ready with any assigned music, books, or practice completed.

  • A quiet, distraction-free space is recommended for online lessons to maximize focus.

6. Commitment to Growth

  • Consistency is key! Regular attendance and practice outside of lessons are expected for steady progress.

  • My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging space where students can grow musically and confidently.
